Why women need this training right now

Eighteen years into the new millennium, professional women make up nearly half the U.S. workforce, yet only receive 80% of what men are paid for the same work.

Although women earn more college and graduate degrees than men, we have very few role models at the top; women represent only 4.8% of CEO positions in Fortune 500 companies.

There still exist gaping discrepancies in how women and men in leadership are perceived, which can have major effects on how, where and when women lead. Gender differences also often show up in how we communicate, negotiate and seek influence.

However, there are several reasons women have advantages in matters of leadership - namely, our innate intuition, demonstrated drive, and passion for collaboration.

We're smart. We're focused. We're tough.

Women should be leading, so let's do it!

"JADE Strategies' Trailblazer workshop was a refreshing take on women supporting women. Authentic, informed, diverse, and savvy, the informal setting was the perfect backdrop for this right-sized group of real women working through real challenges. We exchanged thoughtful, practical experiences and best practices that resonated both personally and professionally with me. Calling up my notes for a career change opportunity soon after made the entire session worthwhile. No matter what stage of trailblazing you're in, there's something to be gained by everyone who participates in this forum."
